Somerford Melts are 100% Hand made and hand poured in Cheshire, creating a range of products which do not disappoint.
We only use 100% Soy wax which is derived from the Soy Bean and is therefore 100% natural. It is a renewable, natural alternative to traditional paraffin wax.
All fragrances used are cruelty free and suitable for Vegans/Vegetarians and paraben free.
At Somerford Melts we take looking after the environment seriously, therefore all of our packaging is 100% recyclable. Even our gorgeous glitter is biodegradable!

Wax Care
Our wax melts are highly scented and each large segment (2 small segments) typically last up to 12 hours.
To use: Place burner on to a flat surface.
We recommend placing 1 large segment/2 small squares on the top of your burner. (burner size depending)
Never over fill your burner with wax!
Place an unscented lit tealight below and the fragrance will soon disperse around the room.
Never leave unattended & keep out of reach of children.
To change the melt allow the wax to cool and re-set.
Place a tealight below the wax for 30sec-1minute to slightly softened and then the solidified wax melt should be able to be pushed out!!
Alternatively you can soak it up with cotton wool/tissue and throw it in the bin.
Don't ever pour your wax melt down the sink.
Candle Care
Our top tips to care for your candle
*Place on a flat, fire resistant surface, away from any draughts
*Do not move your candle whilst it is lit, or still hot
* Give you first burn 3-4 hours to ensure an even melt pool across the top
(this is very important part of giving a candle longevity and to prevent tunneling)
*Trim your wick 5-10mm before every burn- very important!
*Never leave your candle unattended, especially with pets or children around
*Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
*Keep away from flammable materials
